Carpool Whiz was founded by Ryan Pontes in early 2019. The site has evolved into a community for carpoolers in Carnegie Vanguard High School, will expand to the entire Houston Independent School District soon, and hopefully will one day (with improved infrastructure and functionality) be used all over the world.
